Hello, and welcome to my website! I am Lia Tilghman, a neurodivergent Latina who advocates for mental health, equality, and empowerment of minority groups. I am extremely proud to be a female working in Cybersecurity. I currently have a part-time job as a SOC Analyst and also am a Freelance Pentesting Assistant focusing on web app pentesting. I enjoy combining my knowledge from both Blue and Red Teaming, which helps me detect malicious activities easier during a work day. My career dream is to become a Technical Project Manager, where I will be able to apply both my administrative and technical skills in a very fulfilling role. Additionally, I have always been an educator at heart and believe in the empowerment of our communities by spreading knowledge and awareness on all kinds of topics — which was one of the main reasons why I decided to become a translator for TED Conferences. In my spare time, I enjoy doing cross-stitch, fixing old game consoles, and playing disc golf. As you can probably notice, I am a diverse individual and try to honor every aspect of my multifaceted identity. Let’s connect! The best place to find me is on LinkedIn. Or if you would prefer, leave me a message in the form found in this page, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
